Program Educational Objectives

PEO 01: Graduates will become an established skilled Civil Engineer with sound ethical values.

PEO 02: Graduates will demonstrate all necessary scientific and engineering proficiency to become excellent Civil Engineer considering social, ethical, and environmental issues.

PEO 03: Graduates will exhibit strong leadership quality, eagerness for lifelong continuous learning to adopt themselves in higher studies and relevant research

Program Specific Outcomes

PSO 01: Graduates will be able to apply domain knowledge of Civil Engineering for analyzing and designing projects in the field of Structure, Transportation, Environmental, Hydraulics, and Irrigation Engineering.

PSO 02: Graduates will design and develop Civil Engineering projects concerning environment, ecology, energy conservation and sustainable materials with acquired safety.

PSO 03: Graduates will be able to analysis, plan and execute Civil Engineering projects applying relevant codes of practice for construction materials and techniques.

Our aim is to educate individuals to become the leaders of the profession. Our undergraduate program showcases several disciplines within civil engineering and provides our students with a sound and broad education that prepares them for professional practice.

The program emphasizes interdisciplinary team work, communication skills, tools and skills for professional practice, and lifelong learning. We strive to ensure that our graduates understand professional ethics and the value of service to their profession and society through involvement in community, state, and national organizations. We offer a distinguished program of graduate study and creative research in selected areas of civil, highways and transportation, structures, and environmental engineering.

Events

Earth Day 2022

"Earth Day 2022" was celebrated by Department of Civil Engineering of TIT & SCIENCE in the august presence of the learned chief guest Dr.(Er.) Manish Mudgal Senior Principal Scientist at CSIR AMPRI Bhopal and guest of honour Dr. (Er.) R.K. Chauhan Ex. Senior Principal Scientist and Head at CSIR AMPRI Bhopal.

Chief guest Dr. (Er.) Manish Mudgal gave a thought provoking presentation on recent trends in environmental impact assessment and building materials with emphasis on reducing harmful emissions during manufacturing.

Poster making competition and Quiz competition based on the theme of "Invest in Our Planet of Earth Day 2022" were also organized. Sapling plantation was also done in the TIT Campus. 

Smart City Visit, Bhopal

A visit to the premises and projects of Smart City, Bhopal, was organised on 01.04.2022 for the students of B.Tech fourth semester, ME & CE branches & Diploma fourth semester, EX & ME branches. They visited various smart city projects and facilities during the visit.

1. Engineering material testing facility.
2. Development of Bicycle Track Corridor
3. Atal Path ducting work for electrical wiring and drainage
4. Underground parking system development in Dashahara Maidan.
5. Concrete mixing plant.

Smart City Project Manager Mr. Amit Sharma and Senior Engineer  Mr. Rishabh Chohan were present with our students throughout the visit for providing valuable inputs related to the sites visited. Prof. Anshul Kapoor of TIT & S accompanied the students during the visit.

SITE VISIT

Supermax RMC Plant

Today 11.12.2021 industrial site visit was organised for 54 students of Civil (I & II Yr.), Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Department at M/s Supermax Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) plant at 11 Mile Bhopal.

The site visit gave the insights of the construction and working of Ready Mix Concrete plant (RMC). Valuable information related to following aspects were provided to the students:

1. Silos and Bins arrangement for the storage of cement and aggregate respectively.
2. Weigh batchers for proportioning different ingredients of concrete.
3. High efficiency mixture for thorough mixing of materials.
4. Computerized system controlling the entire production process which results in the superior concrete quality as compared to site mix concrete.

Visit was conducted under the supervision of Prof. Aajid Khan and Prof. Danveer Singh.
