Design And Analysis Of Solar PV System Models
Solar Rooftop PV systems are becoming more popular these days as it is proven to lower electricity bills and potential contributory to lessen CO2 emissions. Three models of 1.215 kWp solar rooftop PV systems, namely: on-grid, off-grid and hybrid were designed and installed at Room EB217 of the College of Engineering building, Tarlac State University, Romulo Boulevard San Vicente, Tarlac City in order to determine their individual characteristics in terms of (1) design analysis and wiring diagram; (2) solar PV System components and total cost of installations; (3) amount of savings incurred in the solar generation and (4) rate of return and recovery period. The result showed that for the same amount of solar panel capacity, the on-grid model has the simplest design and wiring diagram as compared to the off-grid and hybrid models. Also, the on-grid model has the least number of components and no battery and thereby it is the most economical model to install since it is 58% cheaper than the two other models. In terms of actual amount of savings incurred in the solar generation, the hybrid model offers the highest savings of P2,798.40 per month, followed by the on-grid model at P2,126.40 per month while the off-grid model had the lowest monthly savings of P1,017.60 per month. Among the three models, the on-grid offers the highest ROR on investment at 2.72% per month and the shortest period of recovery of 3 years. The hybrid had an ROR of 2.08% per month and a recovery period of 4 years while the off grid had the lowest ROR of 0.75% per month and the longest recovery period of 11 years. It is concluded that the on-grid model offers the most feasible and viable alternative in solar rooftop PV system design and installations.

Fabrication of Solar Outdoor Air Purifier
This research paper is about designing and fabricating an air purifier system which is powered by solar energy and testing the effectiveness of the system to curb the air pollution. The focus is on extracting the suspended particulate matter from the air which are the major contributors in the pollution of air in many urban cities. It works on a nonconventional method and intents to achieve best possible air purification results using eco-friendly and economical method. It works on the basic principle of adhesion of the suspended particles in the air with the liquid and settles down due to being heavier than air and gets separated from the air helping us to achieve better air quality index. The fans and the pump in system are operated with the help of solar energy, produced by solar panels, which converts the solar radiations into electricity.
Working
There is a chamber in which air is sucked in by the fan, while the air is entering it passed through strainer.
Simultaneously water is pumped from reservoir to the atomizer, which converts water into small water droplets and these droplets are suspended into the chamber along with air.
These water droplets have adhesive property due to which the particulate matter and dust particles get absorbed on them.
This way air is cleaned and is flown out from chamber by exhaust fan.
The water with dust and particulate matter is collected in evaporation tank, where water under goes natural evaporation process, leaving behind the dust and particulate matter these are periodically cleaned and water is used again in air cleaning process.
Conclusion
Now we have seen that how efficient is SOLAR POWERED AIR PURIFIER than other type of device available in market. It also very economical and do not have to replace any component quickly. It reduces particulate level to satisfactory position where a person does not need to worry about pollution related problems.
A pure and clean air is right of a human being and all other living creatures on this earth and this project is a small effort from our side to give the all their right.
Also in future, modifications can be made to improve working efficiency without effecting setup.
